Rosso di Montepulciano, Azienda Agricola Canneto 2019 Grape variety_Ciliegiolo with floral and honeycomb notesThis excellent estate was bought in 1987 by a group of Swiss friends who had often holidayed near Montepulciano and especially admired Canneto's Vino Nobile, and is now run by Ottorino de Angelis alongside consultant oenologist Carlo Ferrini. There are 26 hectares of hillside vines below the winery on heavy pebbly marl soil, certified organic from the 2018 vintage. The Rosso di Montepulciano, which sees no oak, is violet and cherry fruit scented, full
